The Chef position at Legends Global reports directly to the General Manager and is essential to the smooth operation of the venue’s day-to-day food service. This role requires a detail-oriented and skilled culinary professional who can oversee the preparation, quality, and timely production of menu items in a high-volume, fast-paced setting. The Chef works closely with the General Manager, Regional Executive Chef, and supporting staff to ensure the highest standards of food safety, presentation, and customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.
The responsibilities include setting up and preparing all food items, managing opening and closing duties, replenishing stock, and maintaining sanitation and organizational standards. The Chef is also responsible for accurately inputting daily event sheets and reports, adhering to company policies, and exceeding guest expectations. This position plays a significant role in staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling food service event staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. The Chef must possess extensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu, specials, and services offered, and assure compliance with company inventory and cash control procedures.

Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- professional training in culinary education or equivalent experience
- experience in fast-paced high-volume food service
- knowledge of food and beverage preparations and guest service etiquette
- strong multitasking and team skills
- proficiency in English communication
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- mobility to perform physical tasks such as bending and reaching
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- professional training through a culinary education or experience in fast-paced high-volume fine dining or catering facility
- ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with service standards
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, and guest relations
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- ability to read, speak, and write in English
- physical ability to lift and transport food and items up to 50 pounds
- ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- sufficient mobility to perform production tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
Job Duties
- Set up and prepare all food items
- perform opening and closing duties
- replenish and rotate stock as directed
