Job Requirements

  • Must be 19 years of age or older
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License
  • ServSafe Certification required
  • Food Handler Certification required
  • TIPS Alcohol Certification required

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of kitchen experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment, food preparation techniques, and safety standards
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Commitment to high-quality food and guest service

Job Duties

  • Support and uphold the mission, vision, and values of WarHorse Gaming LLC
  • Assist in managing day-to-day kitchen operations, including task delegation and staff supervision
  • Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes, specifications, and presentation standards
  • Monitor food quality, consistency, and portion control
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development, including large party and specialty menus
  • Train, coach, and develop culinary team members
  • Assist in scheduling, performance management, and staff development
