Job Requirements
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License
- ServSafe Certification required
- Food Handler Certification required
- TIPS Alcohol Certification required
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of kitchen experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, food preparation techniques, and safety standards
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Commitment to high-quality food and guest service
Job Duties
- Support and uphold the mission, vision, and values of WarHorse Gaming LLC
- Assist in managing day-to-day kitchen operations, including task delegation and staff supervision
- Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes, specifications, and presentation standards
- Monitor food quality, consistency, and portion control
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development, including large party and specialty menus
- Train, coach, and develop culinary team members
- Assist in scheduling, performance management, and staff development
