The role of Chef at CulinArt in Cuyahoga County, Ohio is a dynamic and entrepreneurial opportunity within the culinary field. The position involves ensuring client and customer satisfaction by providing outstanding culinary resources and support for an assigned dining account. The Chef may be responsible for managing departmental scheduling, discipline, and hiring, maintaining food cost controls, and supporting menu development along with the Executive Chef or Sous Chef. The role also includes executing catering events and introducing new culinary programs alongside the marketing and culinary teams.

Candidates will bring their hands-on culinary expertise to this role, working in a fast-paced environment that involves high-volume batch cooking and complex food service operations. Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, or education food service is highly valued. A strong knowledge of current food and catering trends, attention to sanitation, food quality, presentation standards, and cost control is essential for success in this position. Additionally, proficiency with computer skills including MS Office and Excel is preferred, along with ServSafe certification and an associate's degree in Culinary Arts.

This role comes with a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $65,000 per year and offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the whole employee. Job Requirements

  • associate's degree in Culinary Arts preferred
  • at least 3 years of culinary management experience
  • hands-on chef experience required
  • extensive catering experience preferred
  • high volume batch cooking experience preferred
  • comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
  • servsafe certification preferred
  • proficient with MS Office including Excel

Job Duties
