Job Requirements

  • Degree in culinary arts or equivalent professional experience
  • Five years progressive culinary management experience
  • Knowledge of HACCP controls and proper food storage
  • Experience in purchasing, food storage and sanitation
  • Experience with P&L financial reporting
  • Strong leadership and training skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS
  • Ability to lift, bend and carry up to 40 lbs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Commitment to high standards of integrity and ethical behavior

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable on HACCP controls and proper storage and use of food

  • P&L and financial reporting experience
  • Knowledge of budgets, labor costs, inventory controls
  • Strong leadership, coaching and training skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional business etiquette and client relations
  • Ability to lift, bend and carry up to 40 lbs
  • Knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling principles
  • Conformity to highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification a plus

Job Duties

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Participate in employee meetings and training programs
  • Conduct safety, sanitation and maintenance programs
  • Maintain food cost while ensuring quality standards
  • Maintain an active role in managing team developments
  • Manage purchasing and inventory controls
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned
