Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Experience managing culinary teams and food service operations
  • Passion for sustainability and quality food sourcing
  • Proficiency in inventory and cost control
  • Capability to oversee contract-managed foodservice operations
  • Availability to work flexible hours as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent culinary management experience
  • Minimum of three years in culinary management within contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings
  • Proficient knowledge of menu development, cost controls, purchasing, and inventory management
  • Working knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
  • Experience with P&L management and contract-managed service preferred
  • ServSafe certification is a plus
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Manage full culinary and food service operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Oversee menu development, cost control, and purchasing focusing on local food sourcing
  • Monitor and ensure P&L accountability and contract-managed service efficiency
  • Implement sustainable practices within culinary operations
  • Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including HACCP guidelines
  • Coordinate exposition cooking and oversee catering trends adoption
