Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum three years culinary management experience
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Experience with contract-managed foodservice a plus
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for sustainability
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • Minimum three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings
  • Proficient in inventory and purchasing control
  • Extensive knowledge of food quality, production, sanitation, and presentation
  • Experience with exposition cooking
  • Knowledge of P and L accountability
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Manage full culinary operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Oversee food service operations with a focus on quality and efficiency
  • Develop menus while controlling food costs and ensuring sustainability
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards such as HACCP
  • Monitor and control purchasing and inventory processes
  • Lead and train kitchen and service staff
  • Maintain knowledge of food and catering trends and implement best practices
