Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent culinary management experience
  • Minimum three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice or fine dining
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and purchasing
  • Proven experience with P&L management
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Passion for sustainability practices
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice or fine dining setting
  • Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Experience with exposition cooking
  • Knowledge of P&L accountability
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving
  • Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience
  • Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
  • Maintain passion for sustainability
  • Manage food production and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP
  • Lead and mentor culinary team
  • Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders
