Job Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a chef role or similar position
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Proficient in managing kitchen budgets and cost control
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a chef or in a similar culinary leadership role
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation
- Experience with menu creation and food costing
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties
- Create menus
- Direct the food prep process
- Plan & order ingredients and necessary equipment
- Arrange for kitchen repairs when needed
- Use P&L statements to effectively manage costs and meet budgets
- Hire, manage, and train kitchen staff
- Oversee kitchen staff, looking for opportunities to counsel or coach
- Foster cooperation, collaboration and respect
- Have knowledge of and enforce all safety and sanitation requirements
