Job Requirements
- Five years in healthcare food service with commercial, institutional cooking experience
- Two years supervisory experience preferred
- Food Safety Certification and maintain current
- HAACP, CDM and/or CFPP certifications desired
- Culinary degree or certification desired
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets desired
- County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current

Job Duties
- Establish and oversee food production practices and kitchen operations to ensure quality food service
- Provide staff education and development in culinary skills, food handling, and sanitation practices
- Supervise production employees and food service workers for compliance with federal, state, and regulatory agencies
- Manage therapeutic diet preparation and adherence
- Coordinate food service for patients, cafeteria visitors, physician dining, and catered events
- Maintain food safety certification and enforce safe food handling protocols
- Ensure kitchen sanitation and compliance with health regulations
