As a division of Compass Group USA, Morrison Living embodies a passionate commitment to care, quality, and innovation in hospitality. The company’s culture emphasizes exceptional service, culinary artistry, and nurturing its greatest asset — its people — through comprehensive training, development, and recognition programs. This approach has established Morrison Living as an industry leader and a preferred employer for professionals in the hospitality sector who are driven by passion, creativity, and community focus.
At Morrison Living, everything served means more because it is delivered with genuine care that enhances the dining experience for every guest. The company’s success is grounded in its team’s dedication to hospitality and sustainable food sourcing, aiming to be the best part of someone’s day through every interaction and every meal served. Employees enjoy working within a supportive and dynamic atmosphere, where growth, innovation, and sustainability are not just encouraged but are core to the mission.
We are currently seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to join our expanding culinary team. This role is vital to our ongoing success as it carries full responsibility for culinary and food service operations, ensuring the highest quality standards while maintaining efficiency and profitability. The Chef Manager will oversee inventory management, ordering, and receiving processes, as well as develop menus and control costs with a strong emphasis on sourcing local and sustainable food products.
This opportunity offers a typical Monday through Friday work schedule with no weekends or major holidays, providing an excellent work-life balance. The offered salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually, reflecting the significance and responsibility of the role within the organization. Additionally, the position is eligible for an Employee Referral Bonus, encouraging team members to refer qualified candidates and participate actively in the growth of the Morrison Living family.
Key duties include an understanding of P&L accountability and contract-managed service operations, along with maintaining compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant environments, with strong skills in inventory, purchasing, food cost control, and culinary presentation. ServSafe certification is a plus, and knowledge of exposition cooking is also beneficial.
Joining Morrison Living means becoming part of a company that values sustainability, culinary innovation, and community building through food, all within a supportive workplace that offers numerous benefits. Discover your potential with Morrison Living and help us build community one meal at a time.
