Job Requirements
- minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- proven culinary management experience
- knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP
- strong organizational and leadership skills
- excellent communication abilities
- ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments
- willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining or restaurant setting
- knowledge of HACCP standards
- experience with inventory and purchasing control
- understanding of food and catering trends focusing on quality and production
- ability to manage cost controls and menu development
- experience with exposition cooking
- servsafe certification is a plus
Job Duties
- manage culinary operations including inventory, ordering and receiving
- develop menus with focus on cost control and use of local food products
- oversee food safety and sanitation procedures including HACCP compliance
- control food costs and purchasing processes
- lead and train culinary and service teams
- ensure quality and presentation standards are met
- contribute to P&L accountability and contract service management
