Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least three years culinary management experience
  • knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
  • ability to manage inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • proficiency in menu development and cost control
  • experience in contract-managed food service preferred
  • passion for sustainability and local sourcing
  • excellent leadership and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • three years culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining or restaurant environment
  • extensive knowledge of food and catering trends
  • experience with exposition cooking
  • understanding of food cost controls, production, sanitation, and presentation
  • knowledge of P&L accountability
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Full culinary management of food service operation including inventory, ordering and receiving
  • manage menu development with focus on quality and sustainability
  • implement cost control measures and purchasing strategies
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • coordinate with suppliers to source and utilize local food products
  • oversee kitchen staff and maintain high production standards
  • handle P&L accountability and support contract-managed service operations
