Within this vast organization, Guckenheimer, a part of ISS Group, specializes in culinary and food service management, delivering high-quality dining experiences tailored to meet client needs across various industries and sectors.

The role of Chef Manager at Guckenheimer is a pivotal leadership position that requires a passion for culinary excellence combined with strong team management and operational oversight skills. Effective team building and leadership are essential to foster a collaborative environment that motivates employees and enhances productivity. You will need to address customer feedback promptly and efficiently, ensuring client satisfaction while maintaining rigorous standards for food safety and hygiene, including adherence to HACCP guidelines to prevent foodborne illnesses.

Additionally, responsibilities include hiring, training, and scheduling staff, maintaining financial records within the operating budget, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local health and safety regulations. Strong communication skills are required to effectively engage with customers, clients, and employees, ensuring transparency and responsiveness in every interaction. The position also demands physical stamina, as it requires being on your feet for up to eight hours a day, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working under pressure during peak periods.

ISS Facility Services offers a wide range of benefits to full-time employees, including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, alongside a comprehensive leave program. ISS Group is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace culture that values diversity in ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, and other aspects, reflecting their dedication to social justice and resilience within the global community.
