Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of culinary management experience
  • Knowledge of inventory management and purchasing
  • Ability to manage food service operations and staff
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Passion for sustainability and local food sourcing
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday without weekends or major holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings
  • Extensive knowledge of food trends, quality, production, sanitation, cost control, and presentation
  • Experience with exposition cooking
  • Familiarity with P&L accountability
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Manage full culinary operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Develop menus focusing on local sourcing and sustainability
  • Monitor and control food costs and purchasing
  • Oversee food production quality, sanitation, and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards including HACCP
  • Lead and develop culinary team members
  • Maintain knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service operations
