The Chef Manager role at Morrison Healthcare offers a significant opportunity for culinary professionals looking to lead and innovate within a healthcare-focused food service environment. Based in Columbia, SC, this full-time position involves managing all culinary operations and food service activities within the assigned healthcare facility. The Chef Manager will oversee inventory management, ordering, receiving, menu development, cost control, and staff supervision while upholding high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

This role demands a growth-minded leader who is passionate about sustainable culinary practices and capable of managing a contract foodservice operation efficiently. The successful candidate will have experience in culinary management, preferably within contract foodservice or fine dining, and possess knowledge of HACCP principles and ServSafe certification is considered a strong plus. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of culinary management experience
  • Experience with inventory management and purchasing
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Passion for sustainability

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
