The role of Chef Manager at Aramark is pivotal to delivering exceptional culinary experiences and outstanding customer service. This full-time position reports directly to the General Manager and requires a hands-on approach to managing kitchen operations, focusing on both team development and culinary excellence. As a Chef Manager, you will play an essential role in overseeing day-to-day kitchen activities, ensuring food quality and consistency, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards. You will lead your team by training and supervising kitchen personnel, coordinating culinary activities, and standardizing recipes to meet company standards.
In addition to culinary skills, the Chef Manager is responsible for budgeting and purchasing, planning and pricing menus, and ensuring equipment is operated and maintained properly. The role also includes overseeing special catering events and may involve culinary instruction or demonstrating techniques to staff. - requires 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience

Job Duties
- Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise coordinate all related culinary activities
- estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
- select and develop recipes as well as standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
- establish presentation technique and quality standards, and plan and price menus
- ensure proper equipment operation maintenance and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen
- oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and or demonstrates culinary techniques
