We are currently seeking a skilled Chef Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in delivering exceptional food and customer service experiences, ensuring culinary excellence, and managing kitchen operations effectively. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Chef Manager will take a hands-on approach to lead and inspire kitchen personnel by focusing on team development, culinary expertise, strict adherence to safety protocols, and fostering strong client relations. The position demands a proactive leader who can oversee menu development, food preparation standards, equipment maintenance, and budget management. The Chef Manager will also play a critical role in executing company programs and special catering events, further enhancing Aramark’s reputation for quality and service.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 annually. Job Requirements

  • Requires 2-3 years of experience in a related position
  • Requires 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession
  • Requires experiential knowledge of management of people and or problems
  • Requires oral reading and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise coordinate all related culinary activities
  • Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
  • Select and develop recipes as well as standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
  • Establish presentation technique and quality standards and plan and price menus
  • Ensure proper equipment operation maintenance and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen
  • Oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and or demonstrates culinary techniques
