Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years culinary management experience
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Experience with inventory and purchasing controls
  • Ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with or without accommodation
  • Commitment to sustainability and quality food service
  • Effective leadership and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • Minimum three years culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings
  • Expertise in food and catering trends with emphasis on quality and sanitation
  • Experience in exposition cooking
  • Knowledge of P&L accountability
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Manage culinary and food service operations including inventory, ordering and receiving
  • Oversee menu development with focus on cost control and sourcing local food products
  • Maintain P&L accountability in contract-managed food service settings
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP
  • Lead kitchen team with emphasis on quality, sanitation, and presentation
  • Manage food cost controls and purchasing activities
  • Implement sustainable culinary practices and promote environmentally responsible operations
