Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years culinary management experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage inventory, ordering and receiving
  • Availability to work morning and evening shifts
  • Passion for sustainability
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of culinary management experience in contract food service, fine dining, or restaurant settings
  • Knowledge of HACCP principles
  • Experience with exposition cooking
  • Familiarity with food and catering trends including quality, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Proven skills in menu development and cost control
  • ServSafe certification is a plus
  • Experience with P&L accountability and contract-managed services

Job Duties

  • Manage full culinary operations including inventory, ordering and receiving
  • Oversee food service operations focusing on quality and efficiency
  • Develop menus that incorporate local food products
  • Implement cost control measures including purchasing and inventory management
  • Ensure P&L accountability and compliance with food service standards
  • Provide morning and evening shift coverage as needed
  • Promote sustainability initiatives within the unit
