Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years culinary management experience
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage inventory, ordering and receiving
- Availability to work morning and evening shifts
- Passion for sustainability
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Three years of culinary management experience in contract food service, fine dining, or restaurant settings
- Knowledge of HACCP principles
- Experience with exposition cooking
- Familiarity with food and catering trends including quality, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Proven skills in menu development and cost control
- ServSafe certification is a plus
- Experience with P&L accountability and contract-managed services
Job Duties
- Manage full culinary operations including inventory, ordering and receiving
- Oversee food service operations focusing on quality and efficiency
- Develop menus that incorporate local food products
- Implement cost control measures including purchasing and inventory management
- Ensure P&L accountability and compliance with food service standards
- Provide morning and evening shift coverage as needed
- Promote sustainability initiatives within the unit
