Job Requirements
- Education level as required by employer
- Minimum three years of culinary management experience
- Working knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
- Ability to manage inventory, ordering, and purchasing controls
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekend day shifts
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-shift environment
Job Qualifications
- Must have a working knowledge of HACCP
- Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
- Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Knowledge of P and L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
- Must be systems savvy and comfortable utilizing technology on a daily basis
Job Duties
- Full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving
- Knowledge of P and L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
- Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
- Partners with the client to deliver quality on site catered events, as demanded by the operation
- Possesses a passion for sustainability and quality ingredients
- Leads breakfast and lunch cafe dining operations and ensures grab and go meals are stocked for nights and weekend operations
- Ensures compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
