Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Previous work experience in a restaurant as a Chef/Line Cook
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to comply with FDA sanitation standards
- Must successfully pass pre-employment background check
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
- Willingness to travel and work on a train for 4 to 8 days
- Must provide consent for drug and alcohol testing records
Job Qualifications

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to comply with FDA sanitation standards
- Strong teamwork and customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Prepare full-course meals for Amtrak passengers
- Assist with all phases of meal preparations
- Wash all items used in the preparation of meals in compliance with FDA sanitation regulations and standards
- Complete all end-point duties
- Assist with loading and unloading food and service products
- Handle storage of all food and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining car lower level
