Job Requirements
- Prior culinary degree or certification required or minimum of 5 to 10 years chef experience
- Ability to work full time Monday to Friday with specified shift hours
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
- Willingness to comply with company policies including drug-free workplace
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Positive attitude towards diversity and inclusion
Job Qualifications
- Prior culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a chef
- Proven ability to supervise and lead kitchen staff
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Experience with inventory management and food ordering
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to customer service and food quality
Job Duties
- Direct, coordinate and evaluate kitchen and food production staff
- Supervise and participate in cooking and serving food activities
- Ensure all food handling, sanitation and customer service standards are met
- Interview, schedule, train and counsel hourly kitchen associates
- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes
- Track food use, waste and consumption for inventory and purchasing
- Maintain sanitation of equipment and workstations
