We are currently seeking qualified candidates for full-time Chef positions at the Pulaski County Special School District location in Little Rock, Arkansas. The schedule is full time from Monday through Friday, with shifts from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. As a Chef at Chartwells K12, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of the school kitchen by directing, coordinating, and evaluating kitchen staff and food service operations. This role requires active supervision of kitchen associates including interviewing, scheduling, training, payroll, and performance management. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items based on standardized recipes, ensuring compliance with health, sanitation, and customer service standards. Additionally, you will manage inventory by tracking food usage and waste, ordering supplies, and inspecting deliveries for quality. Maintaining sanitation of equipment and ensuring proper food presentation, portion control, and temperature are also key responsibilities. This is a hands-on position that requires excellent culinary skills and leadership capabilities to uphold the company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements
- Prior culinary degree or certification required or minimum of 5 to 10 years chef experience
- Ability to work full time Monday to Friday with specified shift hours
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
- Willingness to comply with company policies including drug-free workplace
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Positive attitude towards diversity and inclusion
