Job Requirements

  • 2 years of culinary experience required
  • Able to work full time Monday through Friday AM shifts
  • Must comply with food handling and sanitation regulations
  • Capable of supervising and managing kitchen associates
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of previous culinary experience
  • Experience supervising kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage scheduling and payroll processes
  • Strong cooking and food preparation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills
  • Ability to maintain high food quality and presentation standards

Job Duties

  • Supervises, coordinates and participates in cooking and food preparation activities
  • Ensures all food handling, sanitation and customer service standards are met
  • Manages hourly kitchen associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training and counseling
  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures
  • Tracks food usage, waste and inventory needs
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and workstations
  • Helps select and develop recipes and menus
  • Performs other duties as assigned
