Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of menu items from scratch including soups, roasts, casseroles, sauces, vegetables, salads, sandwiches, and bakery items
  • Use scratch cooking and baking techniques such as roasting, sauteing, grilling, steaming, proofing, and baking
  • Research and test menu items to enhance food quality and wellness
  • Observe safe food handling, ergonomic, and personal safety practices
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Operate and clean kitchen equipment following safety guidelines
  • Support menu management through recipe adherence, inventory monitoring, and food ordering processes
  • Communicate effectively with customers and servers regarding menu and food preparation
  • In the absence of the Chef Team Leader, cover key responsibilities to ensure consistent food preparation and service
