We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Chef/Executive Chef to join our Facilities team and oversee the kitchen operations serving over 200 employees daily. This role is full-time and permanent, offering a competitive salary and a supportive, team-oriented workplace. The executive chef will be responsible for leading all kitchen activities, from menu planning and budget management to workforce scheduling and vendor relations. This position demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and adaptability within a high-volume kitchen environment. The successful candidate will manage both the culinary and operational aspects of kitchen services, ensuring that daily goals are met efficiently and that dining experiences remain consistently excellent.
The Chef/Executive Chef will take charge of day-to-day kitchen oversight including supervising staff, maintaining the kitchen facility, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Managing relationships with vendors and negotiating the best prices for food and supplies will also be key components, balancing budget constraints with quality standards. Workforce planning and staff scheduling will require a strategic mindset to ensure optimal coverage and productivity. In addition, the role includes training new hires and ongoing staff development, all while leading through strong example and clear communication.

Job Requirements
- Associate degree in business, hospitality or related fields
- ServSafe certification
- At least 3 years of experience working in kitchen operations
- Exposure to a high volume kitchen environment
- Strong leadership skills
