Job Requirements

  • Some college, no degree
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Prior lead cook or line cook experience
  • Ability to handle pressure and execute tasks accurately under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing work schedules including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Commitment to maintaining sanitation and food safety standards
  • On-site work availability

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant kitchen or culinary experience
  • Lead cook or line cook experience in various kitchen stations
  • Strong knowledge of culinary stations, cutlery commands, and cooking techniques
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and operate under time constraints

Job Duties

  • Prepare and execute all menu items per company standards and recipe specifications
  • Ensure all prepared entrees maintain accuracy and detail and match the pace of restaurant operation
  • Taste and assess product for quality and consistency in preparation and presentation
  • Maintain appropriate levels and quantities of food products including bulk ingredients, prepped foods, and garnishes
  • Manage inventory levels for assigned kitchen stations, providing regular on-hand counts to the Culinary Team
  • Execute opening and closing duties while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working area
  • Adhere to company sanitation practices and Health Department regulations
  • Foster teamwork and partnerships with fellow team members to meet operational goals
  • Display professionalism and collaborate effectively with all team members
  • Adapt to changing kitchen assignments to support event-based operations including varying shifts
