Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in kitchen management or similar role
- Serve-Safe or Houston Food Managers Certificate
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Availability to work 50 hours per week including weekends, holidays, day and night shifts, and overtime
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage diverse teams
- Strong organizational skills
- Creativity and passion for food
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and computer use
Job Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity
- Ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on quality and customer service
- Strong communication skills with managers, kitchen, service team members and guests
- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Serve-Safe or Houston Food Managers Certificate

Job Duties
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels
- Respond to and handle guest problems and complaints
- Make recommendations to the Corporate Executive Chef regarding succession planning
- Ensure guests receive an exceptional dining experience
- Manage food stock levels to comply with quality standards
- Ensure team members maintain clean, tidy uniforms and professional appearance
- Oversee safe and correct use, cleaning, and maintenance of food preparation equipment
- Update and prepare culinary operations manuals
- Adhere to departmental budgets and control food costs and COGs
- Plan and conduct results-oriented meetings
- Correct food preparation for all restaurants and catering orders
- Initiate maintenance reports and follow-ups
- Manage team members fairly and personally
- Foster a positive and motivated team attitude
- Collaborate with Executive Corporate Chef to use high-quality products
- Administer weekly work schedules and timecards
- Motivate culinary staff and provide positive performance feedback
- Coach and counsel team members according to policy
- Act as manager on duty as scheduled
- Identify team strengths and weaknesses and provide feedback
- Perform varied tasks within the store during each shift
