We are currently seeking a Chef de cuisine/Kitchen Manager to lead the Back of House (BOH) operations under the guidance of the Culinary Director. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen management, including supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory and supplies, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation, and continuously innovating the menu to reflect current trends and customer preferences. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in kitchen leadership, a passion for culinary excellence, and strong organizational and communication skills. This is a demanding but rewarding position offering the opportunity to shape the culinary direction of our restaurant, contribute to a vibrant team environment, and advance within our organization.   • Experience managing inventories and stocktaking
  • Available to work on-call, shifts, after hours, over weekends, and on holidays

Job Duties

  • Ensuring that all food meets the highest quality standards and is served on time
  • Coordinating kitchen staff, and assisting them as required
  • Scheduling, hiring and training staff to prepare and cook all the menu items
  • Ordering, stocktaking ingredients and equipment, and placing orders as needed
  • Enforcing best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
  • Creating new recipes to regularly update the menu
  • Incorporating feedback from restaurant staff and patrons to make improvements or resolve issues
