Job Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- minimum of four years culinary experience in multiple venues
- minimum of three years supervisory experience
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- fluency in English
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and ratio
- ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically
- ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree in Culinary or related field
- minimum of four years of culinary experience in multiple venues or equivalent combination of education and experience
- minimum of three years of supervisory experience
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- fluent and literate in English
- proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
- strong mathematical skills including ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues diplomatically
- ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
- ability to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Achieves desired results through established methods, procedures, and guidelines to maintain established standards and high-quality service
- monitors results through inspection, evaluation, and analysis
- makes changes if necessary to achieve goals
- supervises staff and overall daily management of a designated shift
- supports, administers, and manages operational goals
- monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives
- creates effective and efficient schedules while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives, and achieving guest satisfaction
- develops and produces menu items as listed in each restaurant
- follows all prep lists and ensures kitchens are stocked and ready for service
- assists in the budget process by providing recommendations
- supports compliance to departmental budget initiatives
- reports budget concerns to manager
- supports and promotes superior customer service according to company standards
- ensures customer service standards are followed and addresses issues as they arise
- maintains cost control methods and procedures by monitoring inventory
- maintains quality assurance to meet health department and customer standards
- ensures regulatory compliance and reports potential issues to management
- maintains strict confidentiality in company matters
