Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant culinary certification or degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a culinary leadership role
  • Proficiency in food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong understanding of cost management and inventory control
  • Ability to manage scheduling and payroll systems
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Capacity to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure

Job Duties

  • Lead daily culinary production including meal preparation, food quality and presentation, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Manage team member productivity, performance, cost controls, and overall profitability
  • Perform general management duties such as systems management, report generation, and meeting participation
  • Visually inspect, select, and use quality food and beverage products
  • Create and implement new menus and individual food items
  • Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, professional development, and evaluations
  • Recruit, interview, and train team members
  • Oversee weekly payroll, scheduling, food ordering, and monthly food inventory
  • Develop recipe cards and plating guidelines
  • Work independently with a strong customer service attitude
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify and respond to guest needs
  • Foster a flexible leadership style encouraging team collaboration and input
