We are currently seeking a seasoned and visionary Chef de Cuisine to lead our high-end culinary team. Reporting directly to the Corporate Chef, this position represents an opportunity to influence the culinary direction of our establishment by developing innovative, seasonally inspired menus that reflect contemporary trends without sacrificing the integrity of exceptional food quality and presentation.

The Chef de Cuisine must skillfully balance the artistic aspects of menu creation with the practical elements of kitchen management, including overseeing food costs, inventory control, and budget adherence. This role demands strong leadership abilities to recruit, train, and retain a motivated and high-performing kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Additionally, the position requires meticulous attention to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards to maintain compliance and ensure a safe environment for all kitchen personnel. Collaboration with front-of-house leadership is also a vital component of the role, ensuring a seamless guest experience from kitchen to table.

We offer a competitive base salary of up to $95,000, complemented by a performance bonus of 10%, reflecting our recognition of the importance of this role within our organization. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role within upscale or fine dining settings
  • Strong financial acumen related to food cost and budget management
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor diverse kitchen teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in high-volume, upscale, or fine dining kitchens
  • Strong culinary creativity and ability to innovate menus
