Job Requirements
- Passionate about food and culinary arts
- Minimum 3-5 years of similar work experience
- Ability to lead and manage a kitchen team effectively
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
- Willingness to collaborate with an award-winning chef and hotel brand culture
- Basic knowledge of inventory and cost control management
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar culinary role
- Advanced knowledge of culinary operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven track record in guest and team member engagement
- Experience managing financial performance in a kitchen setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in culinary arts is a plus
Job Duties
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations including prep cooking and plating
- Develop and update menus with chef leading the concept
- Maintain high standards of food quality taste and presentation
- Supervise train and mentor kitchen staff
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are followed
- Manage inventory ordering and food cost control
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
- Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance
- Enforce portion control and minimize waste
