Job Requirements

  • Passionate about food and culinary arts
  • Minimum 3-5 years of similar work experience
  • Ability to lead and manage a kitchen team effectively
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
  • Willingness to collaborate with an award-winning chef and hotel brand culture
  • Basic knowledge of inventory and cost control management

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar culinary role
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary operations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proven track record in guest and team member engagement
  • Experience managing financial performance in a kitchen setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in culinary arts is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage all kitchen operations including prep cooking and plating
  • Develop and update menus with chef leading the concept
  • Maintain high standards of food quality taste and presentation
  • Supervise train and mentor kitchen staff
  • Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are followed
  • Manage inventory ordering and food cost control
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance
  • Enforce portion control and minimize waste
