Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive kitchen leadership experience
  • Prior experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a hotel or upscale restaurant is strongly preferred
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends nights and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of health safety and sanitation regulations
  • Proven ability to manage food and labor costs effectively

Job Duties

  • Lead all aspects of kitchen operations including menu development culinary vision and execution ensuring alignment with OTH and brand standards
  • Inspire mentor and develop a talented culinary team creating an environment of growth accountability and creativity
  • Partner with hotel leadership to design menus that balance guest preferences seasonal trends and financial goals
  • Oversee food quality consistency and presentation ensuring every dish meets the highest standards
  • Manage budgets food and labor costs purchasing and inventory with a focus on efficiency and profitability
  • Uphold the highest health safety and sanitation standards instilling a culture of cleanliness and compliance
  • Foster collaboration between culinary and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and memorable guest experiences
  • Serve as the property’s culinary ambassador engaging with guests gathering feedback and representing the kitchen at events or special functions
