- Culinary degree required
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Spanish preferred

Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar in a multi-meal restaurant
- Strong background in Italian cuisine with proven creativity and menu development skills
- Experience managing large kitchen teams 25+ employees
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office POS systems Toast ADP and scheduling software
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
- Flexible schedule including mornings evenings weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety sanitation and hygiene standards
- Ability to multi-task
- Flexibility to work in shifts including weekends evenings and holidays 10-12 hours shifts
- Attention to detail cleanliness and safety
- Creative innovative thinking
Job Duties
- Lead all kitchen operations ensuring high-quality food preparation presentation and service
- Design cost and update seasonal menus with a focus on Italian cuisine
- Recruit train and manage kitchen employees ensuring productivity and adherence to standards
- Develop and implement kitchen SOPs training programs and food safety procedures
- Monitor scheduling payroll and timekeeping systems such as Toast ADP and Sling
- Maintain kitchen budgets control costs and optimize purchasing and inventory
- Foster a collaborative respectful work environment setting clear performance goals and expectations
- Ensure guest satisfaction through exceptional food quality responsiveness and service
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation
- Manage day-to-day operations
- Participate in the employee performance appraisal process providing feedback as needed
- Set and support achievement of kitchen goals including performance goals budget goals team goals etc
- Perform other duties as required
