Job Requirements

  • Professional degree in Culinary Arts or related certification
  • Minimum two years cooking experience
  • Ability to teach and facilitate cooking classes
  • Serve-Safe Food Manager Certification or equivalent food safety training
  • Knife skills including cuts and handling
  • Knowledge of measurements and purchasing
  • Allergen training for top 9 or top 14 allergens
  • Fire safety training including use of K-class fire extinguishers
  • Strong passion for integrative and holistic health
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Preferred bilingual
  • Preferred management or leadership skills
  • Preferred experience in healthcare or pediatric settings

Job Qualifications

  • Professional degree in Culinary Arts or related certification or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of cooking experience with demonstrated teaching ability
  • Strong passion for integrative health and holistic care models
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of culinary vocabulary and ability to explain to a general audience
  • Experience in healthcare or pediatric settings preferred
  • Certification as Registered Dietitian Nutritionist or Certified Culinary Medicine Specialist preferred
  • Bilingual and strong computer skills preferred

  • Develop culinary programs that integrate medical nutrition therapy
  • Teach and facilitate cooking classes tailored for diverse audiences including pediatric patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to adapt recipes for therapeutic and dietary needs
  • Ensure food safety and quality standards are maintained
  • Engage patients and families in practical culinary education to promote healthy eating habits

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of culinary education programs
