The Pastry Chef Brigade is a critical role within our culinary team responsible for producing exquisite pastries, baked goods, and desserts that meet quality and presentation standards. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, the Pastry Chef Brigade takes charge of all aspects of pastry preparation, ensuring that recipes are followed precisely, ingredients are measured accurately, and final products maintain excellence in both taste and appearance. This role requires managing a dedicated pastry team, delegating tasks appropriately, and ensuring timely execution of pastry production during both day-to-day operations and banquet events.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pastry preparation and baking
- Proficiency in using standardized recipes and maintaining quality
- Strong leadership skills to manage and delegate pastry team tasks
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and handle kitchen equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in pastry preparation, including creating pastry, baked goods, and desserts
- Knowledge of and experience with advanced baking techniques
- Ability to execute pastry production in a high-volume kitchen under pressure
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with food safety and HACCP guidelines
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and make all pastry, baked goods, and desserts
- Follow standardized recipes and measure ingredients to ensure consistency and quality
