Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of experience in pastry preparation
Strong knowledge of baking techniques
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity with HACCP and food safety regulations
Culinary degree preferred but not required

Job Qualifications

3+ years of relevant experience in pastry preparation including creating pastry baked goods and desserts
Knowledge of and experience with advanced baking techniques
Ability to execute pastry production in a high-volume kitchen under pressure
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with food safety and HACCP guidelines
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred

Job Duties

Prepare and make all pastry baked goods and desserts
Follow standardized recipes and measure ingredients to ensure consistency and quality
Oversee and manage the pastry team delegating tasks as necessary
Communicate and coordinate with the executive chef and kitchen staff
Maintain food safety and HACCP guidelines at all times
Receive and store all food items properly and in a timely manner
Execute pastry duties for banquet events in a timely fashion
