Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in pastry preparation
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with HACCP and food safety regulations
- Culinary degree preferred but not required
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in pastry preparation including creating pastry baked goods and desserts
- Knowledge of and experience with advanced baking techniques
- Ability to execute pastry production in a high-volume kitchen under pressure
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with food safety and HACCP guidelines
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and make all pastry baked goods and desserts
- Follow standardized recipes and measure ingredients to ensure consistency and quality
- Oversee and manage the pastry team delegating tasks as necessary
- Communicate and coordinate with the executive chef and kitchen staff
- Maintain food safety and HACCP guidelines at all times
- Receive and store all food items properly and in a timely manner
- Execute pastry duties for banquet events in a timely fashion
