The Chef Associate 1 position at Open Face is a vital role within the culinary team, tasked with crafting and refining menu items and culinary concepts that align with the overall vision of the eatery and the George Eastman Museum. The Chef Associate 1 not only curates and coordinates food specials and menu offerings but also works on creating, refining, and launching new recipes that resonate with guests and maintain the brand’s high standards. - High school diploma or equivalent
- Monroe county food safety certification
- Guest service and visitor engagement skills

- Standing, walking, lifting (25lbs), carrying, reaching, pushing/pulling, handling, speaking, hearing, reading, seeing, and repetitive motions
- Work is primarily performed in moderate to light noise
- Exposure to heat sources (oven and coffee maker, steam tables, etc), hazardous equipment (knives, meat slicers, etc), and cleaning agents (dish detergents, sanitizer, etc)
