Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or related field preferred
  • 5-7 years of progressive food & beverage leadership experience in a culinary management role
  • Current food safety and sanitation certifications required
  • Strong culinary creativity and extensive food and wine knowledge
  • Passion for hospitality, innovation, and guest experience excellence
  • Up-to-date knowledge of culinary trends, techniques, and emerging concepts
  • Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and coaching skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with solid computer and administrative skills
  • Ability to lead with urgency, positivity, accountability, and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Support and oversee Food & Beverage and culinary operations in alignment with company standards, financial objectives, and operational excellence expectations
  • Serve as a key operational leader and assume leadership responsibilities
  • Help cultivate an energetic, collaborative, and service-focused culture throughout the culinary and restaurant teams
  • Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, creativity, and a hands-on leadership approach
  • Help deliver an elevated, innovative, and memorable culinary experience that aligns with the lifestyle and boutique positioning of the hotel and restaurant
  • Stay ahead of culinary trends, seasonal offerings, food presentation standards, and emerging dining concepts
  • Engage with guests regularly and create meaningful guest interactions that build loyalty and memorable experiences
  • Respond to guest feedback professionally and positively, viewing every interaction as an opportunity to elevate satisfaction and strengthen the brand experience
  • Inspire and empower Associates to embrace a hospitality-first mindset in every guest interaction
  • Assist in achieving or exceeding budgeted revenue, profitability, labor, and cost-control targets
  • Support labor efficiency initiatives while maintaining exceptional service standards
  • Help manage departmental expenses including payroll, food cost, supplies, and inventory controls
  • Assist in developing operational strategies and initiatives that drive profitability and enhance efficiency
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of operational reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Assist in recruiting, developing, coaching, and retaining top culinary talent
  • Conduct training, performance coaching, counseling, recognition, and developmental conversations with Associates at all levels
  • Help foster a positive, team-oriented environment centered around accountability, growth, and collaboration
  • Participate in regular departmental meetings, training sessions, and leadership initiatives
  • Support scheduling efforts based on business forecasts, productivity standards, and operational needs
  • Support banquet, catering, and special event culinary execution as needed
  • Maintain all sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness standards
  • Perform additional duties and leadership responsibilities as assigned
