In the role of Chef, you will have complete responsibility for every plate that leaves the kitchen, ensuring that it meets our high standards for quality and presentation. You will lead the overall direction of the menu, continually innovating and iterating to provide creative and delicious dishes that align with our brand and meet profit goals. Your expertise will guide the kitchen team through their daily tasks while fostering an environment of cooperation, collaboration, and respect. This is a leadership role that requires a balance of culinary creativity, operational management, and team mentorship. You will be responsible for hiring, supervising, and coaching kitchen staff, ensuring consistency in technique and quality across all dishes. Additionally, you will manage the food preparation process, make informed decisions about ingredients and equipment orders, and ensure all safety and sanitation standards are upheld. Utilizing your knowledge of profit and loss statements, you will keep a close eye on costs to help the restaurant meet budgetary goals, balancing quality with financial efficiency. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • several years of experience in the culinary industry
  • prior experience in a supervisory role
  • knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques
  • excellent organizational and time management skills
  • ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • strong attention to detail

  • knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures

Job Duties

  • create menus
