We are a family based in Memphis seeking a highly skilled and experienced private chef to join us for part-time work, covering one week every month with daily visits during that week. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a similar private or catering chef role
- must be comfortable cooking with chicken, mutton, and seafood
- ability to work one week per month daily in Memphis
- willing to undergo and clear background check
- valid food handler certification preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to maintain high kitchen sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- experience as a private chef or catering chef
- proficiency in Indian cuisine or willingness to learn
- skilled in Western/American and international cuisines
- ability to prepare meals for vegetarian and various meat preferences
- strong organizational and cleanliness skills
- reliable and able to work part-time/per diem
- excellent record keeping and bookkeeping capability
Job Duties
- cook Indian or be willing to learn it
- prepare Western/American and international cuisines
- cook three meals and two snacks daily for a family of four
- perform daily grocery shopping
- prepare and cook meals
- keep kitchen and inventory neat and clean
- record all receipts and expenses
