Job Description
Our agency is a dedicated service provider for individuals with special needs, committed to enriching their lives through a variety of educational and engaging programs. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled chef to conduct demo cooking classes for our program participants twice a month. This part-time role involves delivering approximately one-hour cooking sessions scheduled from around 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse groups and will bring a patient, engaging, and educational approach to the cooking demonstrations. The cooking classes aim to teach basic culinary skills, promote healthy eating habits, and encourage participants’ independence and confidence in the kitchen. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous culinary experience
- Ability to travel to Dayton, Ohio for classes
- Availability for twice-monthly sessions around 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
- Clear background check
- Ability to work well with special needs individuals
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a professional chef or culinary instructor
- Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
