Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional private chef to cater our event taking place from November 13th to 16th. Our event includes a special cocktail hour followed by a dinner on the evening of November 15th, with the possibility of replicating a similar dinner on November 13th. In addition to these evening meals, we require breakfast service every morning throughout the event duration. This role is ideal for a chef who enjoys crafting diverse and delicious menus and who can cater to the needs of a discerning client looking for an exceptional dining experience in the comfort of their own space.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving a variety of dishes tailored to the preferences and occasions described. While the menu is flexible and open to creative suggestions from the chef, the expectation includes a cocktail hour with appetizers, a full dinner, and breakfast each day. Additional duties may include grocery shopping and cleanup, which would be highly appreciated but are not mandatory. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a private or catering chef
- Ability to work from November 13th to 16th
- Own transportation to and from the location
- Ability to plan and prepare multiple meals daily
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good time management skills
- Ability to lift and carry groceries and kitchen equipment
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a private chef or catering chef
- Strong knowledge of diverse cuisines and menu planning
- Ability to work independently in a private home setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with grocery shopping and kitchen cleaning
- Flexibility to accommodate last-minute menu changes or special requests
- Culinary certification or degree preferred
Job Duties
