Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- culinary school degree or equivalent experience preferred
- minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience
- demonstrated ability to manage kitchen staff
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- proven experience as a chef or in a similar culinary leadership role
- deep knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment and best practices
- strong leadership and team management skills
- creativity in menu development
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work under pressure
Job Duties
- take complete responsibility for every plate that gets served
- oversee the overall direction of the menu
- innovate and iterate on the menu to provide creative, quality food
- meet profit goals through menu management
- hire and supervise kitchen staff
- coach employees on consistency, technique and skills
