Job Description
Our family in Highland Village, Texas, is seeking an experienced Personal Chef to provide expert culinary services focused on health-conscious, high-protein, allergen-free meals through a unique part-time arrangement. This role involves preparing nutritious and delicious meals that accommodate specific dietary restrictions and preferences during a single weekly cooking session conducted in our home. As a personal chef for our family, you will have the opportunity to apply your culinary skills to create flavorful dishes that not only meet stringent allergen avoidance requirements but also include baby-friendly options tailored for an 11-month-old child.
We are a family deeply committed to maintaining a healthy lifestyle that supports our nutritional needs while ensuring food safety and enjoyment for all members. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in personal or home cooking with a strong understanding of high-protein diets and allergen-free meal preparation. You will collaborate closely with us to plan a weekly menu that is aligned with our dietary preferences, restrictions, and our baby’s nutritional needs.
This part-time position offers flexibility in scheduling, with one weekly cooking session at the family home. The hourly compensation ranges from $20 to $40 per hour, depending on your experience and the scope of responsibilities you will undertake. Duties include cooking and packaging meals for two adults and one baby, clearly labeling the meals for ease of storage and reheating. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and managing cleanup after the cooking session, ensuring a hygienic environment.
An optional part of the role includes grocery shopping for the necessary ingredients, provided this is pre-arranged. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential to ensure seamless meal preparation and accurate ingredient handling. Reliability, excellent communication, and adaptability are highly valued, as they help facilitate a smooth working relationship with our family and accommodate any changes in preferences.
If you have a passion for health-conscious cooking and are skilled in crafting allergen-friendly, high-protein meals suitable for both adults and babies, you could be the perfect fit for our family’s personal chef position. We invite you to submit your resume, sample menu, and references to join our culinary team and contribute to our healthy lifestyle goals.
