Brookdale Senior Living is a nationwide leader in senior living and care, renowned for its gracious hospitality, neighborliness, and commitment to creating a warm, home-like environment for residents and their families. As of November 30, 2025, Brookdale operates 589 communities across the United States, offering a wide range of services and opportunities for growth in the healthcare and hospitality fields. The company emphasizes a high standard of clinical care, extensive corporate support, and a robust training program for its sales professionals and service teams. Recognized by Newsweek in 2024 and 2025 as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity, Brookdale fosters an inclusive work culture dedicated to improving lives, including the lives of its employees.
The role available is an integral part of the Dining Services team, focused on assisting the Dining Services Director to uphold excellent resident satisfaction, maintain cost controls, ensure sanitation standards, and provide quality food and service within the community. This position is essential for the day-to-day kitchen operations, helping to monitor and enforce safe food handling practices, participate in food inventory management, and facilitate employee training to maintain operational excellence. Candidates with a college degree in hospitality or equivalent experience are preferred, and current ServSafe certification is required. This flexible role offers both part-time and full-time employment options, with base pay dependent on the applicant’s skills and experience, along with team-based bonus opportunities.
Employees at Brookdale enjoy comprehensive benefits tailored to both part-time and full-time statuses. Part-time associates have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plans, associate assistance programs, employee discounts, referral programs, and early access to earned wages, along with optional voluntary benefits such as ID theft protection and pet insurance. Full-time employees receive additional benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, company-provided life insurance, adoption benefits, short- and long-term disability coverage, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, and tuition reimbursement. Moreover, Brookdale supports veterans, transitioning active military personnel, and military spouses, encouraging these candidates to apply. The company also offers financial assistance for qualified associates pursuing U.S. citizenship by advancing naturalization application fees under specific conditions.
Joining Brookdale means becoming part of an organization where you can contribute meaningfully to resident wellbeing, grow professionally through continuous development programs, and enjoy a supportive, respectful workplace environment free from discrimination and drug use. The opportunity to impact the lives of seniors positively while advancing your career in the hospitality and healthcare services sectors makes this an enriching career choice. The application window is limited to roughly 30 days from the posting date, so interested candidates are encouraged to apply promptly to be part of a company that truly values its employees and residents alike.
