Job Description

Great Circle Catering (GCC) is recognized as the Seacoast area's premier full-service caterer, offering a comprehensive range of culinary services designed to meet the needs of corporate clients, social events, food trucks, kiosks, general aviation, and military troop flights. Operating as a commissary kitchen, GCC has built a solid reputation for culinary excellence, reliability, and outstanding customer satisfaction. GCC is currently seeking a full-time Chef to join its dynamic team and contribute to the company’s continued growth. This role is integral to maintaining GCC's esteemed position in the catering industry by ensuring exemplary preparation, presentation, and execution of food services for a variety of events and operations. The Chef will be responsible for managing food production activities including military troop production builds, corporate catering, special events, and banquet production. This position requires a culinary professional who can not only prepare and present exquisite dishes but also manage event orders with a strong emphasis on quality control and consistent standards.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent culinary skills combined with the ability to perform moderate administrative duties, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and effective communication with key management staff including the Kitchen Manager, Managing Director, and Director of Operations. Furthermore, the Chef must adhere strictly to all sanitation regulations and safety standards, fostering a clean and safe working environment.

The Chef role also demands flexibility as the schedule may involve weekends and requires the ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism. This position requires a Serve Safe Certification or the ability to obtain one upon hire, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Physical demands include the ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
