Job Description

We are a unique private cabin retreat nestled near Clayton, Oklahoma, offering exclusive hunting experiences for small groups ranging from 4 to 8 guests. Our retreat is designed to provide these groups with a comfortable and immersive outdoor adventure, combining the thrill of hunting with the comfort and convenience of a well-appointed cabin and exceptional meals. As a private retreat, we focus on quality, personal service, and authenticity, ensuring that each guest enjoys a memorable and relaxing stay. The hunting experience is complemented by hearty, quality meals that sustain the guests through their outdoor activities and make their weekends special.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled private chef to join us during the busy hunting season in October. This role is seasonal and involves working weekends, with flexible dates that may vary either from Thursday to Sunday or Friday to Monday. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating robust, satisfying meals that cater specifically to the tastes and nutritional needs of hunters, emphasizing quality ingredients and hearty portions.

The position requires residing on-site in a private cabin equipped with a full kitchen, providing a unique opportunity to live and work within the beautiful natural setting of our retreat. Lodging and all food costs will be covered, giving the chef freedom to shop and plan menus according to what best suits the guests' preferences and schedules. The role requires flexibility, creativity, and dedication to delivering a high standard of culinary service in a remote location.

Compensation for this role is $250 per day, summing up to $1,000 for the full weekend commitment. Payment is made at the end of each weekend, providing consistent and reliable earnings for the duration of the season.
