The Chef’s responsibilities extend beyond cooking to include significant administrative duties such as managing budgets, controlling food and labor costs, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Serving as a key leader, the Chef collaborates closely with the General Manager and Chief Operations Officer to coordinate operational strategies, staffing, and purchasing to meet financial objectives.

The Chef will play an integral role in creating an environment that fosters teamwork, employee development, and operational excellence. The role also involves overseeing large-scale food production for the beer hall and private events, managing kitchen and facility maintenance, and innovating menu items to keep the offerings fresh and appealing.

Candidates for the Chef position need to have a deep passion for food, strong leadership skills, and the ability to mentor and guide a diverse team of kitchen professionals. Experience in a high-volume kitchen is essential, along with proficiency in managing both the culinary and administrative aspects of a busy restaurant kitchen. Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and adaptability in a constantly evolving environment are crucial. The Chef and General Manager must work in harmony to project a consistent and unified approach to all operational initiatives, policies, and procedures.

Overall, this role is designed for driven professionals who are not only skilled cooks but also strategic leaders committed to maintaining excellence in culinary standards and business performance. The Chef will have the opportunity to grow within the company through succession planning and leadership development, making this an excellent career choice for those passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to be part of a supportive and high-achieving team.
