Job Requirements

Must maintain Alcohol Seller/Server Certification
ability to work at a fast-paced but efficient and controlled manner
ability to perform all physical aspects of checker/sacker/stocker duties including but not limited to bending lifting walking squatting climbing and at times running
ability to operate all checking equipment keep accurate records count money and make change
ability to lift to a height of 4 feet items weighing up to 40 lbs on a regular basis
ability to place items weighing up to 80 lbs in floor board and trunk space of vehicles
ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance work habits and attitude
ability to function as a team member and get along with others

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience in customer service or retail environment beneficial
ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
effective communication and interpersonal skills
team-oriented with ability to cooperate with others
basic math skills for handling money and transactions
familiarity with company policies regarding age-restricted product sales
ability to follow instructions and adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines

Job Duties

Acknowledge greet and engage guests upon entering the checkout area
scan all items starting from the bottom of the basket
properly identify customers purchasing alcohol and tobacco products per company policy
assist guests in finding items when necessary
follow daily work schedule as assigned by management
encourage guest participation in satisfaction surveys rewards program and promotional programs
perform sacker duties and replace sack supply as necessary
perform general housekeeping and spill clean-up duties
perform occasional stocker duties as assigned by management
perform other duties as requested or required by management
